CSE Federal Credit Union Receives Six Awards for Outstanding Marketing Performance

Lake Charles, La. – CSE Federal Credit Union (CSE) was recently honored with six awards during the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) 2024 “MAC Awards” ceremony. 

CSE received awards in the assets class of $500 million and less in the categories of Video, Annual Report, Direct Mail, Logos and Sponsorship and Partnership Marketing.  

CSE was awarded Gold in Video for its 2023 “A Year of Giving” video, which highlighted several ways the organization gave back to the community.  

In the Annual Report category, CSE received Bronze. CSE’s “The Grass is Greener” themed report which immersed Members into the possibility of growing together collectively, leading to a brighter side when choosing CSE. 

CSE earned both Gold and Silver awards in Direct Mail.  

Gold was presented for its Loan Savings Campaign, which compared loan options provided to members, and Silver for our Onboarding Program, which helped welcome new Members to CSE.  

And finally, in the Logos category, CSE was awarded Bronze for its Prime Checking design used to advertise a new checking account introduced in 2023. 

CSE’s contributions towards the Men Wear Pink (MWP) campaign for Southwest Louisiana received a Bronze award in the Sponsorship and Partnership category. MWP is a fundraising campaign benefiting the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) efforts towards breast cancer research. To help contribute, CSE hosted a Pink Elephant Yard Sale fundraising event, inviting the community to donate or purchase items with proceeds going towards the cause.  

“We are incredibly honored to have been recognized at this year's MAC Conference,” Chief Marketing Officer Colleen Desselle said.  “This is a measure of the creativity our team has. We are committed to innovation that also connects us with our Members and enhances their credit union experiences. We are eager to continue raising the bar to deliver phenomenal service to our community.”
